ASSETS OF DIE CAST AND PLASTIC MOLD MAKING COMPANY UP FOR BID

Tiger Capital Group to sell late-model assets of Vobeda Machine & Tool Co.in July 26th online auction; bidding for equipment of one-owner CNC shop opens July 19th

RACINE, Wisc. (7/6/16)—Following the retirement of Vobeda Machine & Tool Co. Inc.’s owner, Tiger Capital Group will conduct an online auction on July 26 of the late-model assets of the CNC (Computer Numeric Control) shop. The offering from the shuttered die cast and mold making company includes machining, milling, turning, and other machinery, plant support equipment, and office furniture.

Online bidding for the plant’s assets will commence July 19 at www.SoldTiger.com and will close in rapid succession, live auction style, on July 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CT). Previews of the assets will be held July 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CT) at Vobeda’s facility, located at 3801 Blue River Ave., Racine.

Additionally, the company’s 12,200-square foot building is being offered for sale or lease by Houses to Homes Real Estate, LLC. The building sits on 0.52 acres, zoned I-1.

“CNC job shops and companies with in-house repair and maintenance operations will be interested in this sale,” said Matthew DelGuidice, Senior Vice President of Tiger’s Commercial & Industrial division. “This is an opportunity to acquire well-maintained, late-model machining, grinding, tool room and other equipment of this one-owner shop, in addition to the real estate.”

CNC equipment up for bid includes five vertical machining centers: a 2005 Mazak 510-C, a 2001 Mazak VTC-200B; and three manufactured by Hurco. A Clausing Colchester CNC-4000 gap bed lathe, a Boston Digital Model 32GS bed CNC graphite electrode milling machine, and other CNC equipment are also available.

Available tool room machinery includes two Sodick EDM machines: a 2007 AQ-55L, and an FS-A6R; a Wolverine cub bed; more than 15 assorted surface, tool and face grinders by Acer, Cincinnati and other manufacturers, and more.

Inspection and support equipment for sale includes manual workholding, steel layput and elevating die tables; angle plates, and more.

Plant support equipment up for bid includes two forklifts, including a Clark 3,000-lb. capacity LPG solid tire; as well as an Atlas Copco 15-HP rotary screw air compressor, and more.

Personal computers, desks, chairs, file cabinets, and other office equipment and supplies will also be auctioned off.
